On Friday I took these pictures of a rainbow. The first one is the front & the other one is the back! On Friday after school it was rainy then sunny again and that's how it was all day! Hope you like the pictures!

Today it is cold outside but sunny with no rain and we can't do our sponsored skipping outside even though it looks like a lovely day.
The wind is strong because on our wind strength chart it shows us "Branches are moved. Small trees sway."

In our French lessons we have been learning about weather and we can now say some french weather vocabulary.Here is some of what we learned.....

il fait chaud = it's hot!
il fait du soleil = it's sunny
il fait beau = its good
il fait mauvais = it's bad
il pleut = it's raining
il neige = the snow
il faid froid = it's cold
arc-en-ciel = a rainbow

Mail from Martinique

We were very excited to receive some mail from our friends in Martinique. It contained lots of newspaper articles about the recent storms and floods. We were very sad to hear how terrible the weather has been and how badly some of the people in Martinique have been affected. We enjoyed reading the weather forecast and spotting familiar french weather words. We hope all our friends in Martinique are well and look forward to hearing from them again soon.
